There are a bunch of people in the world who have big dreams and want to start their businesses. And my little hunch is that you are one of them and you have a desire to do something you love and own it 100 %.
However for many of us, our desire stops there…as simply a desire. We don’t put much effort into seeing it through. And as I talk to many aspiring entrepreneurs it seems that fear is the driving force in positioning ourselves in not moving forward. We also tend to create excuses about why we can’t do this or that. I know, these excuses very well may be true. But, when are we going to stop giving these excises all the credit? When are we going to say, “I don’t care what things I have going on, I believe there is a way for me to do what I love now!”
Sometimes I wish I could stand on the mountaintop and scream out loud that, “all your dreams are possible, stop getting in your own way!” I want everyone to know this because after taking a huge leap of faith, I now realize how for years I was holding myself back from doing what I desired and how I was all up in my own way. This right here brings up my passion and the purpose of my business.
Right around the time I decided to go through with starting my coaching business, I felt so much fear. Sometimes I would get a headache at the thought of it. I believed that it would be so hard to get my business started and I believed I didn’t have the financial means to do it. But regardless of my terrified feelings, I knew that I had to do this now and not later. So I pushed through and did it.
Girl, I wish I could tell you that after I started, everything was easy and all my negative beliefs went away and I was the most confident business owner there was on the planet. AAHHH…NOPE! Literally with everything I did I had to consciously fight through the fear. And to be honest, when I did, I felt relieved and super happy and accomplished.
And of course, as you keep going it get’s so much easier. You grow, both as a person and as a business owner. Your fears don’t get the best of you as they did before, because now you have evidence that pushing through gives you results and confidence.
Make a commitment today to stop getting in our own way and always finding a comforting excuse not get started now. You deserve joy and happiness. You deserve the ability to go shopping at your local organic market and buying the healthiest foods for you and your family. You deserve to travel and get to know other cultures and see where there is a need for you in the world. You deserve to wake up on Monday morning excited about your plans for the week and the impact you will make. You deserve to live your dream. Don’t hold back.
Always and Forever,
